UBM Medica US, a division of UBM, will hold the first of its new PracticeRx conference series May 2-3 in Newport Beach, Calif., followed by its first fall event Sept. 19-20 in Philadelphia. UBM Medica US plans to hold two PracticeRx events annually, rotating between the West and East coasts.
PracticeRx is designed to provide physicians and health care administrators with conten
t that will help them improve the financial health of their practices. Topics to be covered include the impact of health care reform, advances in technology, coding and staffing issues, ways to increase reimbursement, and techniques that can improve patient satisfaction.
“Practice Rx will give attendees the tools and advice they need to streamline their practice and improve overall profitability,” said Brian Field, managing director of UBM Medica US and COO of UBM Connect, in a release.
UBM Connect operates UBM plc’s events-led marketing services businesses in North America, except for those associated with UBM Tech.
“The business of health care is constantly evolving, now more than ever,” Field added. “It is critical for today’s medical practices to be prepared with proven strategies to meet these challenges.”
