Two UBM entities have announced the launch of products designed to enhance and supplement its exhibitions and conferences in the health care field.

UBM DeusM and UBM Live launched PharmaEvolution.com, an online community it hopes will extend the life of its events serving the pharmaceutical industry.

“For pharmaceutical professionals today, there is an enormous pressure to innovate and manufacture more efficiently,” says Pharma Evolution.com Editor Agnes Shanley, “all while improving product safety and quality.”

At the same time, UBM Medica US is relaunching Diagnostic Imaging, an online resource for medical imaging specialists.

“Radiologists have traditionally been early adopters of technology,” says UBM Medica US Senior Vice President Cyndy Finnie. “This is a format that is compatible with the latest advances in mobile technology.”

PharmaEvolution.com and Diagnostic Imaging will feature original content written by industry professionals, eschewing purely aggregated content. Officials at UBM Live and UBM Medica US say peers will be able to share information and discuss issues without intrusive marketing messages.
