PLUSH Show Joins Las Vegas Market

The Posh Little Urbanites Show (PLUSH) will cancel its scheduled Sept. 7-9 show at the World Market Center and become PLUSH Pavilion, part of the Las Vegas Summer Market July 27-30 at the same venue instead.

The previous dates had coincided with a competing, but larger, juvenile apparel and products show, the ABC Kids Expo, scheduled Sept. 7-10 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

The bulk of the Las Vegas Summer Market focuses on furniture, home décor and gifts.

Nevertheless, says Jina Park, CEO and founder of PLUSH, it will be a good fit for the PLUSH Pavilion, which Park will manage.

“Our decision to change the date and strategy for our upcoming trade show is simply the best decision we’ve made for the juvenile industry,” Park says. “We are very aware that buyers in our industry are decreasing at an alarming rate. By creating a PLUSH trade show within the established and successful Las Vegas Market, we are now giving our industry an opportunity to be in front of thousands of new buyers who are seeking juvenile industry products in all categories.”

Going forward, Park says, PLUSH will be part of both the Las Vegas Summer and Winter Markets, occupying a 100,000 square foot space in the World Market Center’s Building C.

“Thanks to Las Vegas Market,” Park adds, “we now have a chance at rebuilding our buyer base the best and quickest way possible, while introducing our manufacturers and presenting them in the best light in the PLUSH Pavilion.”
