PennWell is set to bring biophotonics to market in 2014 with a conference and expo focusing on the advancement and commercialization of optics and photonics technologies for the life sciences.
The two-day conference, plus pre-conference workshop, will teach attendees about current and emerging technologies and market trends, as well as, how to develop and introduce new products into the marketplace.
“The launch of ‘Strategies in Biophotonics Conference & Expo’ demonstrates both our commitment to and investment in the development of photonics technologies and products for health and medicine,” says Christine Shaw, PennWell’s technology group senior vice president, in a statement.
BioOptics World, comprised of a magazine, website and e-newsletter, focuses content on research related to the design, development and utilization of optical technologies for the study, diagnosis and treatment of disease. Laser Focus World, first published in 1965, is a monthly magazine that offers coverage of optoelectronic technologies, applications and markets worldwide.
