Here’s a taste of some of the announcements made at last week’s Virtual Edge Summit in Santa Clara, CA, which focuses on virtual events, meetings and communities:
• Virtual events provider Unisfair released Version 9, the next generation of its Virtual Engagement Platform, which simplifies the steps in creating virtual events and offers an Engagement Index, which enables organizers to rank leads based on the level of activity and interest of each attendee.
• Virtual events and business environment provider InXpo released InXpo Labs, a testing and development center for customers, partners and InXpo to collaborate in the creation of new, interactive and engaging virtual environments. The company also announced that it has packaged its platform into three levels to make it easier to plan and execute virtual events as standalone events or in combination with physical events.
