Industry veterans Chris Valentine, Nate Derby and Chris Young have founded T3 Expo, a new general service contractor that will focus on trade shows and corporate events. The company plans to offer new products and technology, modular pricing and creative service solutions to make shows more productive.
“The traditional ‘general service contractor' model has focused on warehouses and large investments in inventory with deep, yet narrow product lines,” says Valentine, T3 Expo CFO, who previously served at Champion Exposition Services for 15 years. “We'll operate as a highly-efficient design, production and distribution hub that leverages the latest technology to deliver results, on-demand to help our clients meet and exceed their show and/or event requirements and goals. Contractors have to be a strategic partner. Instead of offering services based on inventory, we're listening to what show managers need and building solutions from there.”
According to the company's founders, its pricing plan will help differentiate T3 Expo. “Our objective-based pricing approach will allow show managers to decide whether they would like to lower exhibitor rates, lower show management rates, increase revenue, or improve branding/overall décor,” says Derby, who previously served at Champion. “We'll package these options into four balanced solutions, discuss with the client to understand their goals, and price accordingly. This will allow for the greatest amount of flexibility in our approach to producing events, and ultimately better ROI for our customers.”
