IAEE Announces 2012 Art of the Show Winners

The International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) has announced the winners of its annual Art of the Show awards, recognizing excellence in marketing and promotion of events throughout the year.

Winners in 40 categories were named, with the overall Best of Show award split between Freeman for Navistar (Navistar Dealer Meeting/Mid-America Trucking Show 2012) and UBM Electronics (DESIGN West).

Multiple category winners include Freeman, Fixation Marketing, Penton Media and IDG, each with three awards. The Consumer Electronics Association also won twice for the Consumer Electronics Show (CES)—the 10th straight year it’s taken home at least one Art of the Show award.

The recipients, to be honored at Expo! Expo! IAEE’s Annual Meeting and Exhibition Dec. 4-6 in Orlando, were selected from a pool of 199 nominees. Submissions were received from the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.
