The International Exposition (I-X) Center in suburban Cleveland will combine three consumer shows featuring food, beer and wine that it has produced in the past into a single event in November.
Up until this year, I-X has held two Fabulous Food Shows, one in the spring and one in November, and the International Beer Fest in May. This year it will hold a single event, the Fabulous Food Show, Nov. 8-10, essentially folding the beer show into the food show.
“It takes a tremendous amount of time, resources and logistical detail on each production,” says I-X Center Director of Events Jeremy Levine. “We’ve decided to focus our resources on presenting a single unparalleled destination event experience in one location.”
Levine predicts the single event will take up a combined footprint of more than 400,000 square feet with about 450 exhibiting companies. Given the past attendance at the three previous shows, he estimates about 25,000 people will attend this coming fall’s show.

In the past, the food show has attracted celebrity chefs like Anne Burrell, Michael Symon and Jacques Pepin. The beer show has showcased more than 200 breweries with 800 beers in three public tasting sessions.
The I-X Center is about 15 miles west of downtown Cleveland and has more than 1 million sq. ft. of exhibit space with a theater that can seat 2,600, a 100,000 sq. ft. conference center, 26 meeting rooms and a 16,000 sq. ft. ballroom.
