One of Europe’s largest energy-related trade fairs, Hannover Messe Energy, will host international pavilions at and contribute content for Access Intelligence’s two major energy sector events, Electric Power and RETECH. In the first year, each pavilion will have 15 to 20 exhibitors taking up about 2,000 net square feet.
The agreement between Access Intelligence and Hannover Fairs USA will involve the upcoming Electric Power 2014, scheduled April 1-3 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, and next year’s RETECH, scheduled Sept. 3-5, 2014, at the Gaylord National in National Harbor, Md.
Hannover Fairs USA is the U.S. arm of Deutsche Messe, which organizes multiple events in Hannover, Germany, as well as in a number of emerging markets around the world.
Hannover Messe Energy, which will next be held April 7-11 in Hannover, is recognized as one of the largest events dealing with power generation, supply, transmission, distribution and storage. It typically draws 109,000 attendees and more than 1,000 exhibitors to its flagship event. It also has similarly branded events in Brazil and Turkey.
The hope of both parties involved is that Electric Power and RETECH will provide access to the U.S. market for Hannover Messe Energy’s exhibitors at the same time it enhances the international profile of the two Access Intelligence events.
“This strategic alliance capitalizes on our respective strengths,” says Don Pazour, CEO of Access Intelligence, parent company of Expo, in a statement.
Hannover Fairs CEO Larry Turner says, “The partnership will contribute significantly to the international knowledge transfer and best practice exchange in these important aspects of our economies.”
