ExpoDevCo to Launch Textile Event

The Exposition Development Company, also known as ExpoDevCo, will launch the Textile World Innovation Forum Sept. 15-16 at the Cobb Galleria in Atlanta.

The launch is part of a collaboration agreement with Billian Publishing Inc.’s , in which the event will include the Textile World Innovation Award.

The two-day conference will target management-level executives in the textile manufacturing industry.

The award will go to a textile company that has demonstrated outstanding efforts and accomplishments in product invention and innovation.

David Audrain, president and CEO of ExpoDevCo, says in a statement, “The textile manufacturing industry in North America is seeing significant growth again in many sectors, and this conference will bring together the leading managers responsible for this continued growth.”

Jim Borneman, publisher and editor in chief of Textile World, adds, “The idea of pairing the award and a high-level forum dedicated to innovation is a great opportunity for industry leaders. Often in our careers in textiles, we become siloed as specialists—this is an opportunity to reconnect with innovation from fiber to finished product.”
