EventKaddy Puts Shows at Attendees’ Fingertips

Looking for a way to let attendees access your show from their cell phones? Consider EventKaddy. Much more than a digital show guide, EventKaddy is a mobile distribution platform designed to enhance the attendee experience while providing new benefits for exhibitors and a new revenue stream for organizers. In addition to serving as a digital replacement for a traditional printed show guide, EventKaddy features session and exhibitor listings, video recordings, interactive maps, networking tools, survey functionality and more.

The modular, customizable solution’s home page can be branded to match the show’s branding, and the system works with mobile phones, such as iPhone, BlackBerry and Android, on the Web or on touchscreen modules set up on-site.

As a digital show guide, EventKaddy lets attendees search for other attendees, exhibitors, speakers and sessions by keyword, category, etc. For example, attendees can search for sessions by date, time, track or speaker. When searching for exhibitors, users can view listings in alphabetical order and then click on the booth number to launch an interactive map showing the company’s location on the show floor.

Attendees can also use the system’s MyKaddy custom scheduling tool to build their own personal list of favorite exhibitors and sessions that can be saved and viewed at any time. The solution also includes a notification function that provides real-time Twitter updates and other communications from show management, including alerts on room changes or session cancelations. And users can continue to access the system’s content, such as session videos, exhibitor content, product info and conference notes, after an event is over.

An add-on module provides polling and surveying capabilities for gathering postsession evaluations and feedback, and session audio recording is another option that can be tied into the system (through parent company Soma Media, a recording and distribution company).

For organizers, EventKaddy also offers a source of revenue through enhanced exhibitor listings and sponsorship opportunities. For example, sponsors can purchase banner ads on session pages that link to their enhanced listing. For exhibitors, basic listings include company name, booth number, description and link to the location on the floor map. Enhanced listings, which are sold in tiers, can include the basic listing details, plus additional options such as company logo, contact info (phone number, e-mail and Web site or e-store link), links to the company’s social networks, a list of featured products with photos/logos and descriptions, digital coupons and links to content such as marketing materials, digital brochures, white papers, PDFs and videos. The user-friendly system lets exhibitors build and upload their own listings via the Web and make changes at any time.

An enhanced data and analytics tracking function also lets organizers see how many people accessed the site as well as each exhibitor’s pages. EventKaddy Puts Shows at Attendees’ Fingertips
