DALLAS

FIVE SIXTY
Located atop Dallas’ Reunion Tower, this revolving fine-dining restaurant sports floor-to-ceiling windows lining the entire space to reveal 360-degree views of the city’s skyline. Featuring modern Asian fusion cuisine by Wolfgang Puck, the restaurant’s modern interior creates a warm, sophisticated ambiance with a palette of warm gray, ivory and silver as well as natural materials such as wood, glass, ceramic tile and stone. The space features a circular, glass-walled wine display, locally harvested mesquite floors and charcoal-tiled, curving walls with a series of stop-motion photographs of the Dallas cityscape and a fire mural. Seating includes modern settees, legged booths and armchairs upholstered in mohair, velvet and leather. Guests can enjoy fine dining in the main room, which seats 124 people, as well as a more casual experience for groups of 40 to 50 people at the restaurant’s two bars: a stylish rotating bar that faces outward so patrons can enjoy the view and a stationary, ultra-contemporary illuminated glass bar as patrons enter the restaurant 560 feet above the ground. For wine aficionados, Five Sixty’s wine list features more than 400 labels as well as a dozen brands of sake (www.wolfgangpuck.com).

NEW YORK

SKYLINE STUDIOS
Located at 10th Avenue and 36th Street in New York, Skyline Studios opened last fall for Fashion Week. Event planners can rent out the rooftop together with the 7,500-square-foot sixth floor directly below it for special events as well as for photo shoots, partnering with Splashlight Studios. Occupying a former garage site, Skyline Studios is a flexible space, serving as a perfect spot for special events such as fashion shows, concerts, cocktail receptions or even an outdoor café. The site’s large, blank billboard can be used to project movies, video clips, photos and more. To keep guests dry and comfortable in any weather, clients can also tent the rooftop if they wish.
