ConvExx to Manage BlogWorld

ConvExx and BlogWorld have agreed to a partnership agreement to jointly produce all future BlogWorld events. ConvExx has assumed management responsibilities for all BlogWorld events. The most recent BlogWorld and New Media Expo took place Jan. 4-6 in Las Vegas.

Jeff Pressman, president and CEO of ConvExx, says new media is the future of broadcasting and communication and he’s happy to be part of it.

“We are honored and excited about this opportunity for ConvExx,” Pressman says in a statement, “and look forward to working together to enhance the event even further.”

“We are really excited about this partnership with ConvExx,” says BlogWorld CEO and founder Rick Calvert. “BlogWorld started as a labor of love and has grown into the industry event of the year for new media content creators.”

The first BlogWorld & New Media Expo took place in 2006. The event name was changed in 2011 to New Media Expo. The 2014 event featured more than 200 speakers, 100 educational sessions, 100 exhibitors and 2,200 attendees.

In 2012 BlogWorld acquired the TBEX (Travel Blog Exchange) conference and produces annual TBEX events in North America and Europe. The 2013 North America TBEX was held in Toronto. The 2013 European event was held in Dublin, Ireland.

ConvExx, a Las Vegas-based show management company, also produces the SHOT Show and the Las Vegas BikeFest.
