Messe Frankfurt USA’s Techtextil North America and Texprocess Americas will collocate next year with JEC Americas Exhibition & Conference, creating one of the largest annual markets in North America for the combined textile and composites industry sectors.
The collocation will take place May 13-15 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.
“Composites are a growing, innovative product segment,” says Messe Frankfurt USA President and CEO John Gallagher in a statement. “The agreement allows a blending within the technical textiles and composites value chain.”
It also brings together three shows held most recently in three different cities. The announcement came on the opening day of JEC Americas Composites Show & Conference, being held Oct. 2-4 at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center. It is the second edition of the show launched in 2012.
Texprocess Americas, which focuses on equipment and technology for the production of sewn products and previously known as SPESA Expo, was last held in April 2012 at the Georgia World Congress Center. Techtextil North America, for the technical textile industry, took place in March at the Hilton Anaheim in Anaheim, Calif.
Messe Frankfurt produces six editions of its Techtextil brand around the world, including the flagship show each May in Frankfurt. JEC, a trade association serving the composites industry, also produces JEC Asia in Singapore and JEC Europe in Paris.
“We are very happy with this collocation as it is the first time we are working together with another exhibition brand,” says Messe Frankfurt Techtextil Brand Management Director Michael Jaenecke in a statement.
