The Center for Exhibition Industry Research’s third annual Predict conference will take place Sept. 12 at the Waldorf Astoria New York. The day-long conference will provide an economic outlook on the exhibition industry and a forecast of the year to come.
“The data will provide the industry’s decision-makers with real-time and reliable information upon which to strategize in the coming year,” says CEIR CEO and President Doug Ducate.
A new feature at this year’s Predict conference will be a special session entitled “Association Nation,” which will be a discussion of the challenges facing trade associations and the ways in which the healthiest groups are remaining relevant to their membership.
Co-chairs of the conference will be David Audrain, president and CEO of Clarion Events, North America, and Dennis Slater, president of the Association of Equipment Manufacturers.
Attendance at the forecasting conference is limited to C-level executives, mergers and acquisition firms, private equity firms, investment firms and the financial press. For more information on application and registration, go to www.ceir.org/predict.
In a statement, CEIR says the Predict planning committee will release more details of the day’s program in the near future.
“CEIR Predict has become an essential meeting for executives because it is tailored specifically to provide forward-looking information they need…and can get nowhere else,” says Robert Priest-Heck, chief sales officer for Freeman and chair of the CEIR Predict Planning Committee.
