EXPOmagazine’s exclusive survey, the Top 25 Fast-Growth Shows, has returned. We’re searching for entries that will be compiled into a master list that is designed to recognize some of the fastest-growing events in our industry, and shed light on the areas of—and reasons for—their growth.
 
This list is to some extent self-selecting and we'll be accepting submissions until January 9. From the group of entrants, we will select our designees based on a rigorous process that factors in size of the event in square-footage, number of attendees, number of exhibitors, revenue, and how all of these metrics grew from the prior year. We’ll also look at the number of attendees per square-foot of exhibit space because we believe the closer these two metrics are, the more efficient an event is and the more satisfied exhibitors are. We think a list that combines all of these factors is more relevant, and a truer reflection of real performance, than a simpler list that merely tracks largest to smallest.
 
Our annual survey is open to all shows—trade, consumer, for-profit, association and more. All sectors are represented, and being the largest doesn’t automatically mean you’ll be first.
 
We’ll also identify several shows from the list for profiles—a look behind the scenes at what they did to achieve their growth. These are great stories, both illuminating and inspiring.
