Tip of the Week: Even trade shows should pay attention to local media

To know what's really going on in cities where your show is held, pay attention to the local news. "All shows are local," says Peter Eelman, Vice President, Exhibitions, The Association for Manufacturing Technology (AMT). "Read the papers and develop your sources; stuff happens there and, if you know about it, you'll be better prepared."
